Sir, I really enjoyed the data mining seminar! The concepts were explained in a way that was easy to understand, and the examples were super helpful. I loved how interactive it was and the way the presenter answered our questions.
ReplyDeleteThank you sir.
After attending the seminar on business process mining, I really got to know how useful tools like Power BI are. I usually stick to Java and Python for projects, but this showed me how important data tools can be too. Also got to know about IBM's Watsonx — kinda more business-focused than ChatGPT and better for deep data work. Sir Pritam’s words really motivated me!☺️
ReplyDeleteThe seminar on Process Mining was insightful and well-structured. Sir explained the core concepts clearly, and the real-life applications discussed helped in understanding the practical relevance of the subject. Overall, it was a valuable learning experience, and I look forward to more such sessions in the future.
ReplyDeleteI really liked the Business
ReplyDeleteProcess Mining seminar. It was easy to understand, and the examples were helpful. The presenter was good at answering questions. Thank you sir for organizing it.

DeleteThis seminar delivered a comprehensive introduction to Business Process Mining with relevant comparisons, practical use cases, and conceptual clarity. The discussion on how process mining aligns with digital transformation and data-driven decision-making was particularly impactful. A special appreciation to the speaker, Mr. Pritam Sir and CCTP-WB-JOB for facilitating such a valuable session.
ReplyDeleteKey Highlights:
Data Mining and Process Mining: what's basically data mining and process mining. How are they related?? Etc.
Event Logs and Digital Footprints: The speaker explained how digital footprints from ERP/CRM systems create event logs, which form the backbone of process mining. This clarified how routine digital activity can be transformed into valuable business insights.
Task Mining and Process Mining: The comparison between task mining and process mining was well explained.
Why Process Mining is Better: The rationale behind process mining being a superior approach for business process analysis was convincing — especially in terms of real-time insights, automation readiness, and root cause analysis.
Power BI vs. Process Mining Tools: The contrast drawn between Power BI (for reporting and dashboards) and process mining tools (for process discovery and conformance checking) was a highlight. It effectively addressed a common confusion in organizations.
Pritam Sir also showed us demo how they provides the solutions and in a process.

Today's speaker is very very very efficient in public speaking and he is totally able to connect with students with live and practical examples..... New additions like career scope elaboration is very important and useful....data mining process mining why this is important and it was enough to ignite the taste towards it.....
ReplyDeleteNow,
1. If the workflow like if one wants to pursue this field like an algorithmic style explanation what are the perquisites and how to start and what route to follow for the optimal knowledge gain .... Roadmap....
2. Assignment should be assigned related to this same topic... Which we should submit before the next seminar that will motivate us and that will show the alertness....
Liked your last point dada , truly there can be a assignment/ a group project thing , to make regarding the previous seminars topic and , if not possible in that next seminar, there can be a separate day , on which , something techy or related to topics can be made ....
DeleteThis was my first seminar of CCTP_WB_JOB. I am really grateful to Shyam sir for giving me an opportunity to attend this kind of seminar. ReplyDeleteToday, I had the opportunity to attend an incredibly insightful session on Business Process Mining, and it was truly a game-changer in understanding how data can drive business optimization. The session was conducted by Mr. Pritam Roy, Business Process Mining Consultant at IBM, and I must say, his approach to explaining complex concepts in such simple and relatable terms made the entire experience truly enriching.
We explored how analytics of supply chain data can uncover bottlenecks and inefficiencies, helping businesses cut down on losses and boost profitability. Mr. Roy provided a comprehensive comparison between Business Process Mining and Business Analytics, showing us the real-world use cases across industries like retail, healthcare, and aviation.
What made the session even more engaging was the live demonstration of the Celonis tool, which he expertly showcased to help us understand how it works in real business scenarios. He also mentioned tools like UiPath and the role of Python in automating and enhancing business insights.
Mr. Roy also touched on how startups can begin their journey with tools like Power BI, and as they scale, move towards more advanced platforms like Celonis. His guidance on career opportunities in this domain—be it as a Business Process Consultant, Data Analyst, or other analytics roles—was extremely motivating.
I personally asked a few questions around payment cycles and starting analytics for startups, and his answers were not only clear but also practically useful.
The session was interactive and fun—we even had quizzes throughout, and I was lucky enough to win chocolates for correctly answering a few of them! The atmosphere was incredibly positive, with a curious audience and a speaker who was genuinely passionate about teaching.
Overall, this was one of the best learning experiences I’ve had. I’m truly grateful for the knowledge shared, the energy in the room, and the opportunity to connect technology with real-world business insights. Looking forward to many more such sessions in the future!
Thanks to CCTP-WB-JOB and Shyam sir for giving us this opportunity. Today's seminar was excellent, informative and I learned a lot about Process Mining and how it impacts businesses and employees alike.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I am not looking to involve myself in career opportunities in Process Mining for now, this was a fun discussion. I was able to relate some of the topics with Project Management (which I am interested about).

I realized that the seminar not only for increasing knowledge it's also be the increasing practical thoughts . my all questions are clear by pritam da explanation . in a one word i need this seminar again
ReplyDeleteI didn't have much knowledge on this topic but after attending the seminar I got ample knowledge about data analysis difference between data analysis and data minning. It can be a very much on demanding skill in the upcoming future to grow a business because business and technical skills are related. I will surely explore the courses, certifications on this topic in the upcoming future.
ReplyDeleteEven though the topic felt completely new at the beginning, but as the seminar went on our respected speaker Mr Pritam Roy sir literally made it so related. I felt as if this is the solution of something I have been trying to find for a long time. The importance of event logs literally blew my mind. I am definitely going to attend the next seminar.

On 6th July, I attended a seminar on Data Process Mining, conducted by cctp-wb-job. The session was very informative and well-structured.The speaker pritam Sir explained how data is processed, why data is so important, and how it plays a crucial role in running a business efficiently. His way of teaching was clear and logical, which helped us understand the core concepts of data processing and its real-world applications.
ReplyDeleteAs a 2nd semester student, I was able to understand most of the topics. However, there were still a few advanced terms and concepts that I was not fully familiar with. I had to revisit them at home for better clarity. Since students from different semesters attended the seminar, the level of understanding naturally varied. In my opinion, if the explanations were slightly more aligned with the understanding level of junior students, it would have been even better.
Sir asked us to rate his explanation out of 10. Personally, I would give him a rating of 6.5 out of 10, as he made a great effort to ensure everyone could follow, and his knowledge of the subject was excellent. The rating may vary depending on each student's background and level.
Also, the presence of Shyam K. Mondal Sir made the seminar more engaging. He always encourages us to learn something new from every seminar and motivates us to ask questions, which is a great habit to build. His words and presence made the event even more valuable.
The seminar ended with a positive vibe and a group selfie with the volunteers, capturing the successful completion of the program.

The previous seminar was on data privacy. Then yesterday, Speaker Sir explained to us better what kind of jobs are available in this field.Anyway, yesterday's seminar was even better than the previous seminar. It would be nice if you conducted the seminar the way you interacted with everyone yesterday. It would not be nice if you just talked to yourself.Anyway, yesterday's seminar was very good. ReplyDeleteBy attending this seminar, I got to learn about many new tools and organizations.
In this seminar, the respected speaker discussed a very important and interesting topic — "Data."
After the discussion on data, I started seeing any kind of data from a completely different perspective — something I never thought of before.
I realized how important data is, how big companies operate based on data, and how historical data can be used to make major decisions.
There were a few heavy/complex terms that I didn’t understand earlier, but after coming home, I tried to learn about them.

Yesterday's seminar was also quite good. Speaker sir tried to explain in many details and I understood quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteSir observed us really very well, due to which he was able to understand if anyone having trouble understanding? then he would also tell small stories related to the topic, about his experience. When he was telling the stories, it was quite fun, interesting, also informative and that's probably why I got interested in listening to the topic.
Due to which the session was interactive and I enjoyed it at the same time.
In between explaining and telling stories, Sir was asking many questions and clearing up the queries of those in the audience.
And Sir also gave chocolate to those who were able to answer his questions.

Yesterday's seminar was too amazing for me because we were able to know about business process mining, personally I was not aware about this topic. So, it was the best chance to know of this topic through this seminar. Our respected speaker also shared his working experience in this field, and he also said various kind of stories related to this topic for trying to understand us about this field. I understood his explanation but as semester-2 student I didn't know some technical terms regarding this topic, so it is too difficult to answer speaker's questions. Many students at different colleges were present in this seminar, naturally the level of understanding and knowledge background varied. I will enlarge my knowledge pool. But questioning is the only option to get answer my question, in future I will push myself to question in these seminars.
