Program Brief:
The program started at 4.00pm and ended at 7.30pm.
Sri Surajit Ghosh engaged the students with their very common topic Data Structure &
Algorithm. He explored different areas of applications of Algorithms & explained it's beauty.
He explored on the scope for the students in students with Algorithm & motivated to learn
algorithm with utmost care & sincerity. We are expecting that students will be benefited
from this seminar in their near future.
There were 21 students participants from 7 different Institutions and 7 Peoples from
different Industry in this seminar.

Really a nice seminar , and had a outstanding speaker - Surajit Ghosh Sir . Gathered much knowledge about algorithms, and it's implemenatation , application, and many other. A special thanks to Shyam Sir and CCTP team for this exiting seminar .. and also thanks to Surajit sir and other alumnis for today's event and for making connections... It's my second day , hope I will attend remaining ones ......
ReplyDeleteToday, I had the opportunity to attend a seminar on the implications of algorithms in the industry, and I must say, it was truly an amazing experience. I was thoroughly impressed by the depth and relevance of the topic, and the information shared was incredibly insightful.
ReplyDeleteThe speakers, in particular, stood out — their wisdom and industry experience were clearly evident. I especially appreciated how the main speaker conducted the session: he was not only flamboyant in his delivery but also exceptionally thorough in his communication. His ability to connect the dots and deliver precise, well-structured information made the session both engaging and enlightening.
Overall, it was a very enriching experience, and I look forward to attending more such seminars in the future.
First of all I want to thank to CCTP team and all the members associated with it. This was my first Seminar after attending I have taken oath that I will attend all the future upcoming seminars . Seminar was excellent. After this my thought about visualising algorithms will be different. I was amazed that how algorithms play a lot of role in our daily life . Gathered a lot of knowledge and I shall definitely try my best to learn algorithms as the way mentioned by Shyam sir and Surajit sir.

Yesterday's seminar was something like that, I got a chance of gaining such a valuable knowledge about-
Algorithms, & it's applications. I got to know that creating an algorithm is not just a step-by-step process, rather it also includes- Efficiency, that it should be efficient enough, so that the algorithmic program's "time-complexity", "space-complexity", & "energy-consumption" can be reduced to a certain level.
As we know, today, in the era of AI advancements, one has to show not only his skills, but more *efficient, precise, and creative skills* to the industry, in order to survive, and sustain in this new world.
I also got know a much about "Computational complexity", involving "Computational Mathematics". And so I learnt about the anatomy of how a machine actually works in a digital level, the main goals and challenges involving it to adopt "Deterministic, and Non-deterministic". The machine usually works on our commands, but an algorithm can also give the machine, the ability to create its own way of outcomes.
This beautiful seminar was only possible because of our
respected speaker "Surajit Ghosh Sir".

"Implication of algorithm and it's application in life" - This is how our speaker Mr Surajit Ghosh sir started his presentation. Our respected Mrs. Tumpa Saha mam could not be present due to some unavoidable circumstances. But sir decided to enlighten us with his profound knowledge and experience in this sector. I loved how he made all of us understood the topic and Prof. Skm sir too decided to go deeper in the topic and all together I really enjoyed the seminar. Definitely going to join the next one.

Today's seminar was a little different. At the last minute SKM sir found out that our respected speaker madam would not be able to come today.

As I am from 2nd semester, so I don't know so much about algorithm.
Today some new terms are included like Computational Complexity, graph theory .
Is computer deterministic or non deterministic?
Try to understand the relation between algorithm and real life,
Overall it was a very good experience.
Looking forward to the next seminar.

The seminar on "Importance and implication of algorithm in industry" was a great session. I got to know so much new terminologies, the importance of set theory in our life, Algorithm and circuit are synonymous, the different classifications of automata and language(type 0, type 1, etc.). Mr. Surajit Ghosh sir gave a wonderful and impactful speech on how much algorithm is important in our daily life. He also taught us the future trends of algorithm and how can we be more efficient and improve ourselves in algorithm writing. It was such a fabulous session. Our beloved S.K.M. sir taught us that we should always focus on building energy efficient programs or codes. In total, I learned a lot from this session.

I had the opportunity to attend the seminar on 'Implication of Algorithm and its Application in Industry' held on April 27th, 2025. The speaker, Mr. Surajit Ghosh, explained complex concepts in a very simple and practical way, making it easy to relate theory to real-world applications. Prof. Shyam K. Mondal’s guidance added great value to the event. Overall, it was a well-organized and informative seminar, and I am looking forward to attending more such sessions in the future.

The seminar was very informative. It effectively bridged the gap between the theoretical concepts of algorithms and real-world industrial applications. I had the opportunity to attend this But this seminar was a little bit different cause our honorable speaker ma'am was not able to join with us for some unavoidable circumstances.So, Mr.Surajit Ghosh sir took the responsibility of it and he gave a valuable of the topic. He explained every complex topic very easily. I learnt some new terms as well as how algorithms are used in our daily life..Then, SKM sir also talked about the related topic... overall, i enjoyed the seminar...

It is my honour to attend the seminar and listen the application of algorithm in industry in good way. But it was unfortunate part that our respected ma'am was not able to attend the programme, in those circumstances, Mr. Surajit Ghosh took the responsibility on his shoulder to handle the unavoidable situation and he frankly explained the whole topic of the seminar. I also thankful to him to prevent the seminar cancellation. I found to know the main base of algorithm in C, why would I think algorithm is only part of C ? No , algorithms are the basic part of our life and it is not only worked on input and output , I also learnt the term computation complexity. So , most of all , I really enjoyed the seminar and this knowledge which I had gained . it is more helpful for future path.

The seminar on Implications of Algorithms in industry was very informative. Being in second semester and starting c programming, logic development stands at the first stage. Realising it and hearing it from a industry person made it much clearer.

This seminar held on 27th April. The speaker Surojit sir explained about the Implications of Algorithm. Sir gave another seminar speech before this seminar But as a student of 2nd sem student I didn't understand some terms that's sir used in this seminar but noted this word in my notebook for gathering some knowledge. otherwise this seminar was too good .Thank you sir for updating our knowledge, how to mannage an industry.
