I got a brief understanding of many new topics like sql, nosql, database, etc. The speaker, Mr. Anirban sir gave us a wonderful understanding on the trends in data model. Sir gave us a demo of how we can store unstructured data using MongoDb database. The way he simplified the complex terms and keywords of this complex topic(Trends in Data Model) was truly amazing and wonderful. I learned about structured and unstructured data and also learnt different layers to train data. Our beloved and respected Mr. SKM sir also gave us a wonderful speech and reminded us what are the objective and characteristics we should possess to face the industry and how we should build our character. In total, it was a wonderful and outstanding experience.

  15. The seminar on data model trends was quite insightful, especially considering the audience primarily comprised Semester 1 and 3 students. The use of relatable, day-to-day examples made the concepts of SQL and NoSQL easy to understand, even for those like myself in Semester 3, where DBMS is yet to be formally introduced. Despite the foundational level, the session successfully conveyed the crux of these database models, leaving us with a clear starting point for deeper exploration in the future.

  17. Nothing happens without data, so we must learn to handle data, or huge amount of data. Then we must store them but the question arises, How? I learnt about the different storing method i.e. SQL and noSQL. Arindam sir made me understand in detail how real life data are handled and how one is related to each other. I understood how unstructured data is very necessary due to increasing amount of data. The flexibility is much necessary otherwise the cost, power both gets wasted. The 3 hour seminar was much helpful and I am eager to attend the future seminars.

One thing I felt need to be taken care of is the PPT. The white text was making it unrecognizable, if the color was black for some slides it would have been better.

Overall, I loved this seminar, the volunteers worked hard till the end to make it smooth. Thanks to the whole team.
