The seminar was organized by CCTP-WB-JOB (Check About Us) on "Career Counseling for Career Guidance" held on 30th November 2024 started from 4pm to 7pm at Boi-Chitra Hall, 2nd Floor, Indian Coffee House Building,
College Street, Kolkata- 70 00 73.
Program Brief:
The program started at 4.00pm and ended at 7.00pm.
Through the program it is elaborately explained the fact of requirements of the Industry and
the way to fulfill the requirements.
He explained the facts those are the differing in Public & Private sector environments.
The Skills are the Key to Success but how to adopt skills - nicely covered in his speech.
There were a fully interactive session continued more that 1 hour after speech.
The students were so excited about the topic & related issues.
There were 41 participants from 12 different Organizations.

ReplyDeleteCareer, Job, what to do, what not to do......All these are the thoughts of a under graduate student who just got out of school and started to feel the reality of this real world and real scenario. So most time a student gets scared by all these. A proper guidance is required for this matter and guess what, I found this today at Boi chitra hall. Our Shyam kumar Mondal sir took all our fears out of us. The fun fact was I got to know a singer came into the Coffee house, a Big celebrity singer. But we were so indulged with our seminar, we cared least, cuz for me Sir was the more bigger celebrity than that singer. He was making our path on the right track. We asked different questions, cleared our confusion and we were confident that our knowledge, our skill will only matter for our job not our degree, which comes last. So I am looking for more these seminars, which will uplift us more. Thank you for this wonderful seminar sir.........

Since I was young, I used to think about how to work, what works in a company, how to work, why to hire in a company, but now I know these things, I hope to learn more by attending these seminars.

The way sir has spoken has left me in awe like all other times...
We were told to think, to practice to be disciplined.....

The seminar was conducted in an absolutely amazing manner. At first, Sir helped us realize and identify the root of the problems we face. Then, instead of providing ready-made solutions, sir guided us on how to solve them independently. I really appreciated how sir focused on empowering us by offering support rather than spoon-feeding answers. This approach makes this seminar stand out from others. It was truly enlightening and introduced me to new perspectives and methods of self-improvement. I am eagerly looking forward to the next session.
ReplyDeleteThe seminar was informative, where I gained valuable insights into recognizing our weaknesses and learning ways to overcome them. As young adults at the beginning of our careers, many of us feel unsure about our career paths and how to choose the right direction. This seminar helped answer many of those questions and provided me with a clearer sense of direction. I’m truly thankful to our Professor for giving me the opportunity to attend such a valuable session.

Being a computer science student had the most clear knowledge and guidance about career growth after attending the seminar. Through this seminar sir shaped us about the industrial knowledge, the skill which are required to grow in this field with right (positive) attitude.
ReplyDeleteI recently attended a career counseling program, which was conducted by Professor Shyam K. Mondal. The session focused on how we, as computer science students, as a electronics student, as a physics student,(and all of ug students) can secure a job even before completing our B.Sc. It was a highly insightful seminar that addressed several key areas essential for career development.
ReplyDeleteProfessor Mondal emphasized the importance of acquiring practical skills and understanding the industry demands. He shared useful strategies for how we can effectively collect data from our surroundings and convert it into valuable information. This process of transforming data into meaningful insights was particularly enlightening and will be beneficial as I continue my academic journey.
The session was interactive and provided a clear roadmap on how we can enhance our skill sets to be job-ready. Overall, it was an excellent learning experience that has inspired me to focus more on developing industry-relevant skills and preparing for future career opportunities.
This seminar was one of the best, as I have never attended career counseling program before...
ReplyDeleteSome of the question which Sir asked, forced me to think about my present situation ; Like tumhe kya lagta hai tumhare pas confidence or skill hai ?
Haan Sir ne marham Patti nahi kia par bataya ke dard kaha hai, and yes unless we realise ourselves no one can do anything for us...
And I think that's why Sir told to write 5 positive and negative things of ours...
I just truly loved the seminar, Sir er words injected to my brain as well as soul.....🫡
I attended this seminar on 30th November, this seminar was very different from other seminars.This seminar is very effective from me because I was some doubts that after attending the seminar yesterday, those doubts have been cleared.In yesterday's seminar sir taught us to think, also how should we choose our right path how should we make our right path ,where we have interest we should go.

Yesterday i attended Career counseling seminar organised by CCTP-WB-JOB....This seminar was different from other seminar because in every seminar I get knowledge about some new topic about our subject related but yesterday I got actual difference between skill and knowledge, hardwork is very important in our life and we should maintain discipline and regularity.... now, I am thinking about my five worst and five Good Sight...
